Worship with us on Sundays at 10 AM at Magnolia Elementary School @ 31900 Nichols Sawmill Rd, Magnolia, TX 77355. We would love for you to Join us!

We would love for you to join us on the Lord's Day!

We are a young church plant just getting started! It is a come-as-you-are Lord's day service, but dress trends toward business-casual, though you can find anything from jeans to shorts being worn.

Music -The music we sing at Harbor is a blend of old and new. We love the doctrinally rich hymns and we find blessing in songs with a modern chorus. Most of us who are comfortable with music from one particular era have discovered, while at Harbor, that we have come to enjoy other songs we had not previously encountered. We strongly prefer congregational singing, which emphasizes the gathered body singing praise to God with one voice.

Order of Service - Our service formally begins at 10 AM, led most often by an elder or pastoral staff member. During this time, we sing several songs, offer prayers of praise and confession to God, hear Scripture read, read a confession, and read a liturgy.

Sermons - Preaching at Harbor is generally expositional, meaning that it seeks to declare the point of a particular Biblical passage.  On a regular basis, our sermon series alternates between the Old and New Testaments. Sometimes we will preach a topical sermon that still exposits Scripture. All preaching is driven by the Gospel, the Bible’s main message of God saving sinners through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Post Sermon - We sing a hymn or song encapsulating the theme of the sermon and then partake of the Lord's Supper. A typical service is finished by 11:15-11:30 AM. An hour later, you might still find folks talking over the sermon and events of the past week.

We are a discipleship-focused church. Similar to a learning hospital, you will find God's people learning and being discipled even in the service. We want to cultivate a culture of discipleship, so we cherish the times when a brother is getting their first reps preaching, leading in song, practicing hospitality, or when a sister is reading Scripture for the first time in service.
